Subject: Official invitation to the World Championship Argentina 2009


The X Junior World Championship and the XVI Senior World Championship will take place in Mar del Plata (Buenos Aires) Argentina, on the 26th to the 29th of November

As Mar del Plata is the most popular tourist place in Argentina, along with the Championship you can enjoy different activities including the beach, because at this time we will be starting our summer time

The Competition will be held in the Stadium Islas Malvinas, with capacity for 10.000 spectators.

This letter is an official invitation to send your delegations to this event.

I would like to join all our Taekwon-do family and share one unforgettable week together.

We’ll be waiting for you; for sure you will not want to miss this event.

National anthem and flag: Each country must bring its national flag 2 x 1 m. and national anthem.

Arrival Date: 
 All Groups should arrive on November 24^th, 2009 (or before) for accreditation and payments of the following fees:

- Competitors entry fee: U$S 100

- Team entry fee: U$S 100 per team

- Prerranged Sparring U$S 50

The entry fee includes:

- Championship ID card,

- Free entrance to the Stadium,      

- Transport from Mar del Plata Airport, Bus or Train terminal to the accommodation place and to the Stadium

- Medical assistance during the competition days (only for competitors)

Preliminary timetable:

Hotel accommodation:
Participants will be accommodated in different Hotels (the prices will include half board - breakfast and dinner)

Competition Rules:
According to the ITF Competition Rules.
The Championship will be played out on 6 rings.

Junior’s competitors must be born from 1991 to 1995.

Junior’s competitors born in 1991 may either be Junior or Senior for the Competition.

Coaches:

Must wear training suit and running shoes while coaching.

Only one (1) coach of a country is allowed to enter the coaching zone.

Only a coach can present an official protest.

Not more than two (2) coaches per country will have access to the drawing and to the coaches meeting on November 24^th, 2008 at 20.00.

Umpires:

Umpires will be accommodated in the Umpire hotel.

The organization will pay a 6 days/5 night’s hotel accommodation including full board (no drinks included) from Wednesday, November 25^th, 2009 to Monday November 30^th, 2009.

Umpires must attend the umpire meeting on Wednesday, November 25^th, 2009, from 15.00 to 16.30 dressed as written in the ITF Umpire rules.

Umpires that miss the umpire meeting on Wednesday, November 25^th, 2009, at 15.00 shall be removed from the umpire list; they therefore shall pay their own expenses.

Visa:
The organizing Committee will inform the Argentinean Embassies and Consulates about the World Championship. If you need a visa you must contact the Argentinean Embassy or Consulate in your country. In case of any problems please contact the Organizing Committee.

Other:

The Organizing Committee is preparing the online registration, which will be ready to use at the beginning of July.

Each country will be responsible for their own expenses whilst attending the World Championship.

The Organizer Committee is not responsible for any injuries. All participants should have full insurance coverage for accident
